| Abstract | Presents lessons learned in designing and performing human-robot interaction experiments based on our work. We present work in adapting techniques from other disciplines, developing new study designs, methods for results analysis, and presentation of the results. We discuss both successful and unsuccessful study methods in an attempt to pass on what we have learned to the HRI community.
