Hello,Since the Canon VC-C4

Hello,

Since the Canon VC-C4 camera is not available for purchase anymore, I had a look at the VC-C50i camera, which, as explained by Marek Wnuk from WRUT, is currently provided with the Touch Screen PeopleBot Guide. I understand they are compatible.
I have some questions regarding points that are not clear in the requisites listed on the Canon's website that you might be able to answer.
Is the VC-C50i camera a digital camera? Is it provided with a digital interface? If so, what is the frame rate that can be reached?
Do the output of the camera is in YUV format?
Do you think there are other solutions to the interfacing problems if we want to use a dedicated laptop?

Finally, I heard that Ruth will be using a Pioneer. Is the the VC-C50i camera compatible with that?

Having said that, for our vision processing purposes, it would be better to have a progressive scan camera.
Do you think it is possible to consider other cameras?
